I had the kimchi pasta with shrimp. It was so delicious. I order it for takeout on door dash. The process was very seamless and the food was ready fast. Back to the dish. The portion size was huge! It had the perfect amount of sauce. I do wish it had a few more pieces of shrimp in it, but other than that the pasta was amazing. I would definitely recommend it and I will be back.

I went here on a mediocre date (I feel like half of my reviews start that way) and was happy with Nandarang! The date didn't make it to a second, but Nandarang will definitely be patronized by me again! I went in solo and was warmly greeted and taken care of while waiting. I was surprisingly very pleased with their craft beer selection. Mostly canned but a couple options on draft were great, too. They have ---- Bourbon County on draft from Goose Island! Iykyk that's basically the best beer on the planet. And you can get 9% pitchers---wtf----amazing, lol! Nandarang has a small parking lot but it is valet, so you can almost always get a space. However, it's absolutely hectic so if you can walk or uber, that's my ideal. Valet is just a few bucks though so bring cash if you need to. They have a huge menu with everything from bar food to full pasta dishes. I tried the Mentaiko Pasta and loved it! I'd really like to go back and try more on the menu! It's actually a great beer bar and can't wait to go back!

A friend recommended a spot and I had to try. We got the bulgogi fried rice and kimchi pasta with bacon. The pasta was simply a beautiful, creamy dish and the leftover sauce is matched perfectly well with the fried rice. Definitely will be coming here again

PROS: -This place welcomes and accommodates solo diners. -Chill vibes and friendly staff! -Happy hour from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. -There's free parking available on a small lot. -The restaurant has table-side tablets where customers can place orders at their own pace. No feeling rushed or having your conversation interrupted by an overzealous server. -This spot is introvert-friendly. If you want to pop in your headphones or just veg out, you don't have to worry about unwanted conversation, interaction, or interruption. -This spot is open until 2:00 a.m.; perfect if you are a late night dining kinda person, like myself. -Delicious food! The Korean BBQ ribs were fantastic. Same for the udon noodle soup I ordered. Generous portions of both. -They have a pretty decent selection of soju, including different brands and flavors. I was happy they carried the Jinro green grape flavor, which is my favorite! CONS -Some of the food items are little expensive. $27 for an order of chicken wings is diabolical... Even for LA.

This place is very spacious. We came on a weekend afternoon, so it wasn't busy. Service was super fast, and the staff were attentive and patient. We tried the kimchi pasta, which we are dying for. It was super flavorful, and the amount of added kimchi and bacon was just right. We also tried the Korean BBQ ribs, which was fantastic. Each bite was juicy and full of flavor. The fried chicken was super crispy, which we also enjoyed very much. Mozzarella sticks and corn cheese were also very delicious and enjoyable to consume. We enjoyed our meal overall and found that each food we ordered was cooked with precision and flavored very well.

Sweet grapefruit Radler (yum) and rainbow sherbet (sour)! Many IPAs. I mean, many of everything beer-related! Plus tons of special spirits! It's like a library of spirits and beers here! And food! This ain't no bar food. This is delicious bulgogi fried rice, freshly prepared popcorn chicken, and a wide selection of Korean dishes! The best bonus is the kitchen is open late! After midnight! Gremlins welcome! The service was perfect! Attentive but not overbearing. Pleasant and welcoming! Thank you, Nandarang!

I spend so much time in KTown. There are always plenty of restaurants to check out (both new and old). Nandarang is on the newer side. I like the vibe because it mixes pub with Korean comfort/bar food. They have so many beers available on draft and bottled. They also have select cocktails and various spirits. If you're not imbibing, they have juice, smoothies, and espresso as well. The food options are great! We tried the animal style fries, Korean fried chicken wings, bulgogi, galbi, mentaiko pasta, kimchi fried rice, and dukbokki. Everything was great and perfect to pair with their drink options. The wings were crispy and juicy, the bulgogi and galbi was tender, the fries were packed with toppings like bacon and a fried egg, the pasta was creamy, and the dukbokki and kimchi fried rice paired great with everything else. I also really liked the vibe. The interior is welcoming with a casual setting and very spacious. The service was superb!
